Bowie-Cass Electric Cooperative members who receive electric service in Cass County are invited to attend the Cass County Board Nomination Meeting on Tuesday, August 18, at 6:00 p.m. Registration will close at 6:30 p.m. Valid members MUST be in line by 6:30 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the Bowie-Cass Electric Cooperative Morriss Building, 117 North Street, Douglassville, TX. The purpose of the meeting is to nominate a candidate for the Cass County position on the Bowie-Cass Electric Cooperative Board of Directors.
The nominees are Diana Dickerson-Casteel, Sherry Cullins Griffin, and Johnny "Marc" Clayton.
The meeting is open only to members who receive electric service in Cass County. In accordance with the Cooperative's bylaws, members will be asked to provide proof of identity, such as a government-issued photo ID, before participating. Members MUST be listed on the account.
