The Annual Meeting of the members of Bowie-Cass Electric Cooperative is Friday, October 10, 2025, at the co-op’s headquarters in Douglassville. Join us to discover why the Annual Meeting is a key component of what makes electric cooperative membership so special.
This year’s meeting will consist of musical entertainment, a complimentary meal, and door prizes. The meeting’s vendor area will also be filled with local businesses eager to showcase their products and share information about their services. Each vendor will host a drawing for a door prize, so be sure to visit every booth!
During the business meeting, Mark Boyd, BCEC General Manager, will report on the cooperative's fiscal health and provide insight into issues affecting its operations.
Three directors will be instated as unopposed incumbents: Steve DeLaughter of Bowie and Red River Counties, Hal Hess of Titus and Franklin Counties, and Shep Granberry of Cass County. All three directors will begin serving additional three-year terms representing the members of their districts. The Annual Meeting is an excellent opportunity for you to get to know these board members and the other six directors who represent you in the co-op’s board room.
You do not want to miss this year’s Annual Meeting! The gates open at 11 a.m., musical entertainment begins at 11:30 a.m., and the business meeting starts at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the business meeting. We hope to see you there!
