The Annual Meeting of the members of Bowie-Cass Electric Cooperative will be held Friday, October 11, at the co-op’s headquarters in Douglassville. Join us to see why the Annual Meeting is part of what makes electric cooperative membership so special.
This year’s meeting will include musical entertainment, a complimentary meal, and door prizes. The meeting’s vendor area will also be full of area businesses excited to show their products and share information about their services. Each vendor will host a drawing for a door prize, so be sure to visit every booth!
During the business meeting, Mark Boyd, BCEC's General Manager, will report on the cooperative's fiscal health and give insight into issues that affect its operations.
Three directors will be instated as unopposed incumbents: Denise McDaniel of Bowie/ Red River Counties, Ryan Richey of Morris County, and Carla Dupree of Cass County. All three directors will begin serving additional three-year terms representing the members of their districts. The Annual Meeting is a great opportunity for you to get to know these board members and the other six directors who represent you in the co-op’s board room.
You do not want to miss this year’s Annual Meeting! The gates open at 11 a.m., musical entertainment begins at 11:30 a.m., and the business meeting starts at 1 p.m. Prizes will be given away at the end of the business meeting. We hope to see you there!
