4/7/25 MORNING UPDATE

Our guys hit the ground running early this morning to continue picking up the pieces after Friday's devastating storms. We have 210 meters out with the large majority of those being in the Lone Star & Jenkins areas. In the Hughes Springs area, there is a break that crews are working to repair. We also have a handful of newer outages that all have someone assigned.

At last count, we have had well over 60 broken poles turned in for jobs. As you can bet, the majority of these broken poles are from Morris County. Aside from the few outlying outages that we have, all available personnel have been assigned to making repairs in Lone Star & Jenkins.

With the number of workers we have in these areas, it is going to be very congested. Please refrain from entering work zones or approaching workers. If you enter a work zone, you threaten the safety of both you and the linemen. Our linemen have been working hard since Friday evening to get the lights back on; let's help them continue to do their work SAFELY by not entering work zones!
