3/7/25 Morning Update

Restoration work is in full swing this morning. Barring any unforeseen issues, we anticipate having the bulk of, if not all, remaining outages restored by tonight. Should that change in any way, we will post a notice.

There are 1,141 remaining outages spread across 109 separate locations.

Cass- 51

Morris- 2

Red River- 205

Titus- 175

Outage numbers will continue to fluctuate as restoration work progresses.

Based on preliminary reports from the National Weather Service, at least 3 tornados impacted our service territory. Morris Co. (close to TItus Co. line near HWY 49 & FM 144) EF1, max wind speed 88mph, Red River Co, (near Avery) damage consistent with EF1, Morris Co./Bowie Co. (North of Naples off HWY 259 and FM 561) EF1, max wind speed 110 mph. This information could change as it is based on preliminary reports. Something else to note: There is a chance for more severe weather tomorrow, Saturday, March 8th. Please plan accordingly. We're doing all that we can to restore current outages and mitigate any others from occurring, but Mother Nature may have other plans in mind. We ask that you all stay weather aware.

We will continue to post progress updates and other information as our restoration efforts continue. We understand that being without power for any amount of time is not ideal, nor is it comfortable.
