3/7/25 Evening Outage Update
As of 7:30 p.m., our outage count stands at 162 meters out spread across 29 separate locations. We’ve made great strides in restoring power today, but there will still be outages that last into tomorrow. Line crews are working as hard as they can, but we are still finding damage from the tornados in the hardest hit areas and it will take time to make repairs.
While we are hoping for the best, it’s better to err on the side of caution—If you are still without power, please have an alternate plan for overnight. It’s also important to note that weather forecasts show more severe weather for our area tomorrow. We’re doing all we can to restore current outages as quickly as possible and mitigate any others from occurring, but Mother Nature may have other plans in mind. Please make sure to keep an eye on the weather and have a plan to stay safe!
We are beyond grateful for the help we’ve received from our sister cooperatives— CoServ, Lamar Electric, Trinity Valley, Heart of Texas, Southwest Arkansas, Jasper-Newton, & Rusk Electric. These guys have done an excellent job and we thank their respective co-ops and families for letting us utilize their skills this week!
