3/6/25 Morning Update

At the peak of the storm on Tuesday, we had over 18,000 meters without power. This morning we are down to 3,341. We continue to move in the right direction with our restoration efforts! Even so, as work continues we are finding more and more damage, largely within the rural areas of our service territory.

We will have 6 sister cooperatives assisting us today: CoServ, Southwest Arkansas, Trinity Valley, Jasper-Newton, Rusk County, & Lamar Electric. Bear in mind that most of these co-ops just finished their own storm restoration work, some as late as last night. Words cannot express how grateful we are to these crews for coming to our aid!

As long as the weather stays mild today, we should see a significant improvement in our restoration efforts. We still expect outages in some areas that will last into tomorrow and possibly even Saturday. We'll know more as the day progresses.

We will continue to post progress updates and other information as our restoration efforts continue. We understand that being without power for any amount of time is not ideal, nor is it comfortable. We appreciate our membership for their kindness, patience, and understanding as we continue to work to restore power.
