Overnight, we saw some setbacks in our outage numbers due to the continued freezing precipitation. We should begin to see precipitation taper off today, which will help with restoration efforts. There will still be a battle against the ice today and the next several days, as temperatures are not expected to climb very high.
All available BCEC crews are in the field working alongside several contract crews. Additional resources from sister cooperatives are also expected today, barring any damage to their own systems.
As expected, road conditions deteriorated overnight, which will impact travel and access to outage locations.
**This will be a multi-day outage--please plan accordingly!**
