First and foremost, thank you all for being patient and understanding as we work against the elements to restore power. Unfortunately, we do not expect to see full restoration this evening. If you haven't done so already, please prepare to be without power overnight and into tomorrow at least. Weather reports are predicting more freezing precipitation during the overnight hours, so further power issues are possible.
Crews have been diligently working all across our system to restore power to our members. For as much progress that was made, just as many setbacks occurred. Example being the Lone Star and Bond Substations transmission outage; they would make successful repairs on one part, just to find issues somewhere else. Both substations were restored just a few moments ago!
There are numerous jobs made up for downed trees, broken crossarms, and snapped poles. Damage reports continue to come in as troubleshooters make their way across the service territory.
