1/11/25 Evening Update
Our current outage count stands at 1,268 meters out. Just in the last 30 minutes, we’ve seen at least 200 meters come back online. The number of meters out is far lower than what we started with this morning at nearly 6,000. The number of outage locations is our biggest hill to climb at this point. Yes, our total outage count is relatively low, but they are spread across approximately 188 separate locations. Progress has been steady throughout the day as our guys have been able to restore almost all of our larger outages and several of our smaller outage locations.
As we mentioned in our afternoon update, we try to prioritize repairs based on the number of people affected. Every repair requires time and attention to ensure the system is restored reliably. A location that has one single outage could require just as much time and resources to restore as a location with over 300 meters out.

This will continue to be a multi-day outage. Our crews have busted their tails today to make repairs and restore power, but there is a considerable amount of work left to do. It’s best for members to plan to be without power overnight and possibly into tomorrow. Some outages may stretch into Monday.
