The outage should last approximately an hour, barring any unforeseen issues or setbacks.
This outage is necessary to allow our crews to safely replace a faulty jumper inside the substation. Doing this repair work at 9:00 p.m. helps avoid disrupting normal workday activities, and because electric demand is typically lower at that hour, it reduces strain on the system during the repair.
Making this repair now will help prevent a larger, unexpected outage later.
