Our Fuel Diversity

Bowie-Cass Electric Cooperative uses a variety of sources to generate it's power.  The cooperative is a member of a Generation and Transmission cooperative that owns intrest in power plants and purchases power generated by wind, hydro, coal and natural gas. The cooperative prioritizes useing as much renewable fuel as possible, while at the same time, purchases power from sources that will keep costs as low as possible for it's members.
